All Parts Backed by a Lifetime Guarantee
All parts are guaranteed for the manufacturer’s estimated lifespan, which varies depending on how much the individual part is used. For example, if the lights are primarily used around the holidays, they could last upwards of 30-40 years.
When used properly, most components typically last between 20 and 30 years.
*If the lights are operated continuously for 12-16 hours daily (excluding the hottest summer days, when extreme temperatures might have an impact), their expected lifespan is around 7-8 years.
**Please note, the lifespan of the controls may be influenced by future technological advancements.
Minimum 1-Year Labor Warranty
Labor costs to repair manufacturer-defective parts are covered for a minimum of one full year. This includes issues such as faulty bulbs, power supply components, LED controllers, connections, aluminum channel finishes, and more. While some dealers nationwide may offer extended labor warranties, all dealers must provide at least a one-year labor warranty. For details specific to your area, please contact your local dealer.
Warranty Coverage for Specific Items
The control board that connects your Trimlight system to your smartphone or tablet is fully covered under the lifetime parts warranty. However, the software that enables this connection is not covered. Issues caused by Wi-Fi interference or radio frequency interference are also excluded from the warranty.
While connecting the Trimlight Controller to your local network is ideal, it may not always be the best option for your specific environment. Using the Trimlight signal broadcast directly from the controller is generally the most reliable method.
Before contacting your local representative for repairs, please ensure all troubleshooting steps have been followed. If the parts are found to be functioning properly, a minimum service fee of $75 may apply.
